Detroit Metropolitan Association  (DMA)

The Detroit Metropolitan Association (DMA) is part of the Southeast Area Associations of the Michigan Conference, United Church of Christ and consists of 31 churches with 7 within the Detroit city limits and the others in the surrounding area.  It is governed by a Board of Trustees and has 4 Divisions: Christian Nurture; Church and Ministry; Congregational Life and Mission Outreach. The UCC Women of Metro Detroit are also a great part of the DMA.  * Click  on "Contact us" at the left side of the page for directions to our office, and other information or "Calendar" for staff schedules, office closings, events & meetings.

To find a church in your area click on the tab at the top of the page and choose "churches in DMA. Click on the name of the church and you will be connected to the churches own website or to our page with information on that church if it doesn't have one.

Our Summer Office hours are 10am to 3pm Tuesday through Friday. The Newsletter is now being published only twice a year  prior to Associations' Meetings, next deadline is August 20, 2010, you may mail, fax or e-mail, your information for: upcoming events April thru September 2010 or review of changes/events. But we must have it before August 20, 2010 in order to get it in the Newsletter (the earlier the better). If you send it electronically let me know what program you use.  All pertinent Newsletter information will also be posted here on the website "News" page.

Mission Area Teams: Are not required to meet monthly, check our online calendar or with the Facilitator for dates and time.
