A friendly reminder that our year runs from January through December, 2010. We ask that you take note your cChallenge Contribution for the year 2010 be sent to the New Treasurer. Our guest speaker, Rev. Henrietta Andrews, Retired Associate Conference Minister, from the Detroit Metropolitan & Eastern Associations, gave an outstanding presentation about "Marium". We learned about the challenges in Marium's Life and with her determination and faith in God, she was able to survive. Rev. Andrews also led us in song as we danced around the chapel. Rev. Margo Allen led us in the Offertory. The offering received was donated to the Evangelical Homes, Sterling Heights facility to purchase a Brick Paver with our name printed on it to be placed in the courtyard. This will be a prmanent reminder of our continued support through the years. After the meeting everyone enjoyed a delicious luncheon in the Edison Room. Former President, Marge Lentz wishes to "Thank" each of the women for their support, dedication and friendship these past 6 years. She has enjoyed serving as president and loks forward to seeing all the Women at the Fall Meeting of the UCC Women of Metro Detroit.
